GNAC Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week Report #8

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Sarah Dullaghan, Emmanuel (So., F)

Sophomore forward Sarah Dullaghan registered 11 points for Emmanuel this past week. She netted five goals and picked up an assist in a 2-0 week for the Saints. Dullaghan's most notable performance was on Saturday (Oct. 21) as the sophomore netted four goals and assisted once in a 7-0 victory over Mitchell. Dullaghan remains second in the GNAC in goals (16) and points (38).

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

Gaby Baker, Emmanuel (So., GK)

Sophomore goalkeeper Gaby Baker had an impressive week at the net for the Saints. Baker collected two victories for Emmanuel, one of them being a shutout over Mitchell on Saturday (Oct. 21). She also converted 13 saves in the two matchups, while only allowing one goal at the net. Baker currently holds the lead in the conference in Wins (14) and shutouts (8) while creeping up in second in goals-against-average (0.56) and save percentage (.862).

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Avary Hall, Regis (Fr., F)

First-year forward Avary Hall stepped up as a contributor offensively for Regis this past week. She scored and assisted once for the Pride in a 3-1 victory over Lasell on Wednesday (Oct. 18). Then, on Saturday (Oct. 21), she found the back of the net twice in a 3-0 victory over Simmons. Her contributions offensively led the freshman to earning seven points for the Pride this past week.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Erina Ismaili, Albertus Magnus - Scored three goals and picked up an assist for seven points.

Alexis Lebreton, Colby-Sawyer - Picked up two wins, including a shutout for the Chargers and registered four saves.

Emily DeRoehn, Johnson & Wales - Scored and assisted twice for the Wildcats to earn six points in two victories for Johnson & Wales.

Evelyn Difiore, Lasell - Netted a hat trick for the Lasers in a 5-0 victory over Anna Maria Saturday (Oct. 21).

Hollie Bomba, New England College - Recorded 10 saves for the Pilgrims in a 4-3 victory over Albertus Magnus Saturday (Oct. 21).

Shelby McBain, New England College - Picked up seven points from two goals and three assists in both victories this week.

Daniela Mazo, Regis - Collected six saves for the Pride while only allowing one goal in a 3-1 victory over Lasell on Wednesday (Oct. 18).
