The Suffolk University Rams claimed the 2009 GNAC Men's Tennis Championship on Saturday evening at the Weymouth Club defeating Emerson College.

The 2009 GNAC Mens Tennis pairings are now available. The Emerson College Lions earned the first with a perfect 4-0 GNAC record and 7-3 record overall. The Lions enter the tournament on a five game win streak.

Suffolk University Men's Tennis Tabbed Preseason Favorite
Suffolk University has been chosen as the mens tennis preseason favorite of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference in a vote conducted by the leagues coaches. The Rams, who finished 3-1 in conference play and 8-5 overall last season, received three first place votes and a total of 22 points in the GNAC mens tennis preseason poll.
JWU Mens Tennis Wins GNAC Championship
Weymouth, Mass.The Johnson & Wales mens tennis team captured the 2008 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship with a 5-4 victory against Suffolk at the Weymouth Tennis club on Saturday evening. Senior Stuart Fodiman (Oakville, Conn.) was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
