TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Ryan Farr, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Sr.)

Senior Ryan Farr had a busy day for Saint Joseph’s (Maine) at the Boston University John Thomas Terriers Classic, competing in three events. Individually, he competed in the 400m dash, placing 47th in a highly competitive field that featured runners from NCAA Division I, II, and III. He finished with a time of 50.26, which gave Farr the Monks’ program record in the event. Farr was also part of two relay events, running legs of the 4x400m relay, which finished 15th 3:26.13, and the distance medley, which clocked in at 10:56.87 in 25th.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Justin Thuotte, Regis (So.)

Sophomore Justin Thuotte set a new personal best in the pole vault this week finishing second as Regis competed at the Wesleyan Invitational. He cleared a height of 3.80m (12’5.5”). Thuotte also competed in the triple jump, earning a mark of 11.91m (39’1”).

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Tudum Monday, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.)

Freshman Tudum Monday competed at both the Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic and the USM Husky Invitational this week. At BU, he competed in the 60m hurdles taking first place in the open section with a time of 9.06. He also competed in the triple jump and earned a 12.47m (40’11”) mark. He then set two personal bests at USM, competing in the high jump and the long jump. He placed fourth in the long jump with a mark of 6.48m (21’3.25”) and 11th in the high jump, clearing 1.65m (5’5”).
