Benjamin Happenny, Regis (Jr.)

Regis junior Benjamin Happenny opened the indoor track & field season with a ninth-place finish in the 1000m run at the Suffolk Relays. He finished with a time of 2:53.64. Happenny also ran the anchor leg of the Pride’s 4x400m relay, finishing ninth with a time of 3:49.61.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Justin Thuotte, Regis (So.)

Sophomore Justin Thuotte competed in multiple jumping events for Regis at the Suffolk Relays on Saturday (Dec. 2). His top performance was a fifth place finish in the triple jump as he marked 12.80m (42’0”). That mark ranks him in the top-50 on the NCAA Division III Indoor Qualifying List. He also competed in the high jump and long jump, finishing 13th and 18th overall in the events, respectively. He cleared 1.70m (5’7”) in the high jump and had a 6.07m (19’11”) mark in the long jump.

Zach Myrick, Regis (Fr.)

Regis freshman Zach Myrick was one of the Pride’s top competitors at the Suffolk Relays this weekend. He finished in a tie for fifth in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.80m (5’10.75”). He only missed one attempt through his first four heights.
