GNAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week Report #6

RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Kiara Cerruti, Lasell (So.)

Sophomore Kiara Cerruti cruised to a third place finish on Saturday (Oct. 7) at the Runnin’ Monks Invitational, helping Lasell place second at the meet. She completed the 6K course in 27:00, the fastest time by a GNAC competitor in the event.

 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Cece Winters, Norwich (Fr.)

Norwich freshman Cece Winters was a key piece in the Cadets lineup at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State. She placed 109th in field of 184 runners with a 6K time of 27:15. Norwich placed 19th out of 25 teams.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Dabira Ojeyomi, Norwich - Led Norwich at the 6K James Earley Invitational, finishing 104th on a 27:06 time. The Cadets placed 19th place showing out of 25 teams in a highly competitive field.
