GNAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week Report #4

RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Faith Shores, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (So.)

University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) sophomore Faith Shores won the Mitchell Invitational this week in runaway fashion. She completed the 5K course in 20:29, nearly four minutes faster than her closest competitor. Her time helped the Blue Jays place first in the three-team meet.

 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Inonda Peterson, Mitchell (Fr.)

Mitchell freshman Inonda Peterson took second place at her home meet, the Mitchell Invitational, this week. She completed the 5K course in 24:28, two minutes faster than the third-place runner. Mitchell placed second in the team competition.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Emma Krantz, Emmanuel - Placed 42nd in the Codfish Bowl at Franklin Park, running the 5K in 21:48.
