TRACK ATHLETE/FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Ashley Keleher, Colby-Sawyer (Sr.)

Colby-Sawyer senior Ashley Keleher put together a strong showing for the Chargers at the Panther Invitational II this weekend, earning a pair of first place finishes and placing second in two other events. Her highlight performance came in the triple jump as she marked 11.34m (37’2.5”), which not only won the event, but also placed her in the top-30 on the NCAA Division III Indoor Qualifying List. She also took first in the 200m dash with a time of 26.70. She finished second in the 60m dash and the long jump. She clocked in at 7.99 in 60m and covered 5.01m (16’5.25”) in the long jump.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Colleen Curran, Regis (Fr.)

Regis freshman Colleen Curran competed in her first collegiate indoor pentathlon at the Tufts Cupid Challenge. She scored 2158 in the event, finishing in 13th place overall. She began the pentathlon with a personal-best time in the 60m hurdles at 10.16. She cleared 1.26m (4’1.5”) in the high jump and threw the shot put 7.13m (23’4.75”). Both were her first times competing in the events collegiately. She also marked 4.02m (13’2.25”) in the long jump and ran the 800m in 2:51.15.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Brooklyn Goff, Saint Joesph's (Maine) - Set a program record for most points scored by an indvidual at the Maine State Championships with 14.5. Placed third in the high jump (1.51m, 4'11."), fourth in the 55m hudles (8.99), fifth in the long jump (5.16m, 16'11.25"), and 15th in the 55m dash (8.02).

Abby O'Brien, Saint Joesph's (Maine) - Placed fourth in the weight throw at the Maine State Championship with a mark of 13.63 (44'8.75") to break the Saint Joseph's College program record by over a meter. Became the first female thrower in Saint Joseph's history to reach the New England standard.
