TRACK ATHLETE/ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Aleyo Amasa-Titus, Regis (Fr.)

Regis freshman Aleyo Amasa-Titus began the new year with a very strong performance at the USM Open II. She picked up an individual event victory in the 200m dash, taking the top spot with a time of 27.61, which was just 2/100ths of a second off of the program record. She also ran the 4x400m relay, helping her squad to a 4:42 finish. Amasa-Titus also placed second in the long jump, marking a 4.86m (15’11.5”) leap.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Anastazia Copeland, Regis (Sr.)

Regis senior Anastazia Copeland picked up a second place finish in the weight throw in her first action of 2024. She marked a 12.59m (41’3.75”) toss at the USM Open II earning her team eight points at the meet.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Brooklyn Goff, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Placed fourth in the 55m hurdles with a time of 9.47 and sixth in the high jump with a 1.42m (4'7.75") mark at the USM Open II.

Abby O'Brien, Saint Joesph's (Maine) - Finished fourth in the weight throw with a distance of 12.20m (40'0.5") and threw the shot put for an 8.26m (27'1.25") mark at the USM Open II.
