RUNNER OF THE WEEK Braeden Laframboise , University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Jr.) Junior Braeden Laframboise solidified his name at the top of the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) record books this weekend at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State. He broke his own 8K program record by 37 seconds at the event, finishing 30th with a time of 26:44. He was the fastest GNAC competitor at the 24-team meet by almost three minutes.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Jacob Pelletier, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (So.) The home course was kind to Saint Joseph’s (Maine) sophomore Jacob Pelletier who won the 8K Runnin’ Monks Invitational on Saturday (Oct. 7). He took top prize at the event with a time of 28:29, besting his closest competitor by 41 seconds. His time also helped lead the Monks to another team championship.

WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Colby Makin, Norwich - Led the charge for Nowirch at the James Earley Invitational at Westfield State. Finished in 89th place out of 202 runners on a 28:16 time, leading Norwich to a 19th-place finish in a highly competitive 24-team field.
