RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Benjamin Happenny, Regis (Jr.)

Junior Benjamin Happenny was the top finisher for Regis once again. He placed 84th overall at the Codfish Bowl in Franklin Park, ranking 29th among NCAA Division III competitors. He completed the eight-kilometer race in 28:42.

 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Jonathan Hecker, Mitchell (Fr.)

Mitchell freshman Jonathan Hecker placed second overall at the Mitchell Invitational 5K race on Friday (Sept. 22). He ran at a 5:55 pace, finishing with a time of 17:45. He was only one of three runners to finish with a sub-20 time.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Braeden Laframboise, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Won the Mitchell Invitational, posting a 5K time of 17:28, which was 17 seconds faster than the second-place finisher. The result carried the Blue Jays to a second place team finish.
