PLAYER OF THE WEEK Grace Ramsdell, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Jr., F) Junior Forward Grace Ramsdell guided the Monks to a 2-0 week in conference play, extending their winning streak to six games as she averaged 26.5 points on 46.8% shooting from the floor with 8.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals a game. The Wells, Maine native started the week off strong with 25 points, eight rebounds, and two steals to hand JWU their first conference loss of the season. Ramsdell followed up in an intense overtime battle with Albertus Magnus on the road, finishing shy of a double-double with 28 points and nine rebounds and handing the Falcons their first conference loss of the season as well. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Grace Jaffray, Johnson & Wales (Fr., F) First-year Forward Grace Jaffray collects her sixth rookie of the week honors as she up a double-double for the Wildcats this past week, producing 25 points and 11.5 rebounds a game while collecting two steals/blocks apiece on the defensive side of the ball. The Blue Hill, Maine native played the whole game at Saint Joseph's (Maine) and notched a 29-point, 13-rebound double double while swatting three shots defensively. Jaffray followed up against Anna Maria in a home victory with another double-double (21 points, 10 rebounds) while collecting three steals and assists for JWU. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Caitlyn Scott, Albertus Magnus - Averaged 27.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and eight assists a game in a 1-1 week for the Falcons. Put up 28 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists in a blowout victory over Mitchell and followed up with 28 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists in an overtime setback to Saint Joseph's (Maine).
Rahmia Johnston, Elms - Collected a 11 point, 12 rebound double-double in lone game of the week in a victory over Colby-Sawyer.
Maren McGinn, Norwich - Put up averages of 23.5 points a game with 9.5 rebounds for the Cadets. Notched a 29 point (13-for-18), 11 rebound double-double on the road at Rivier and followed up with 18 points and eight rebounds against Emmanuel.
Madi Zancan, Regis- Averaged 20 points and 12.5 rebounds per game in two wins for Regis. Collected a double-double in 22 minutes of action with 19 points and 10 rebounds with two steals/blocks apiece over UMaine Presque Isle and added another double-double with 21 points and 15 rebounds in a GNAC victory over Mitchell. Collected her 1,000th point as well.
Jordan Ouellette, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Averaged a 21.5 point (60%) and 11.5 rebound double-double in 31.5 minutes of action in two GNAC victories for USJ. Put up 22 points (11-for-13) and 11 rebounds in 29 minutes on the road against Anna Maria and followed up with 21 points and 12 rebounds in a home victory over Rivier.
