GNAC Field Hockey Athlete of the Week Report #8

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Mikayla Vincent, New England College (Gr., M)

Graduate midfielder Mikayla Vincent went on a rampage offensively for New England College this past week. Vincent collected 16 points for the Pilgrims from six goals and four assists in a 3-0 week. Her most notable performance was on Saturday (Oct. 21) vs. Elms when the graduate midfielder scored four goals and assisted twice in a 8-1 victory. She is currently second in the GNAC in assists with 14.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

Kylie Coupal, Rivier (Jr., GK)

Junior goalkeeper Kylie Coupal won two games for Rivier this past week. Coupal collected her first win of the week against Elms on Wednesday (Oct. 18). Then, on Saturday (Oct. 21), the junior goalkeeper converted seven saves for the Raiders, picking up her second win of the week in a 4-2 victory over Saint Joseph's Maine. She is currently fourth in the GNAC in saves with 117.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Rayne Millett, Johnson & Wales (Fr., F)

First-year forward Rayne Millett was productive for Johnson & Wales on Sunday (Oct. 22). Millett scored two goals for the Wildcats in a 4-0 victory over Dean, one of which was the game-winning goal. 


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Aleah Murph, Colby-Sawyer - Scored two goals and made a defensive save for the Chargers in a 2-0 week. 

Carly Bernard, Colby-Sawyer - Collected two victories and a shutout for the Chargers this week.

Sheridan Blaha, Lasell - Scored twice for the Lasers on Wednesday (Oct. 18) to defeat Saint Joseph's (Maine). 

Courtney Tello, Colby-Sawyer - Registered five saves for Lasell in a 4-1 victory over Saint Joseph's (Maine).

Makenzie Anderson, New England College - Collected four saves and a shutout for the Pilgrims, while earning three victories in the week.

Frankie Alley, Regis - Scored once and dished out two assists for the Pride in a 3-2 victory over Albertus Mangus on Friday (Oct. 20).

Allayna Martone, Regis - Collected 16 saves for the Pride in a 1-1 week.

Madison Streeter, Rivier - Scored a pair of goals in both contests in a 2-0 week for the Raiders.
