PLAYER OF THE WEEK Alyssa Kelly, Regis (Mass.) (Sr., M - Lee, Mass.) The all-time scoring leader for Mount Ida before transferring, Kelly had 11 goals and three assists for 14 points to go with 17 ground balls, 10 draw controls and seven caused turnovers in a 3-0 week for the Pride. Tuesday against Thomas, she finished with four goals, one assist, seven ground balls, four draw controls, and five caused turnovers as she contributed on both ends of the field. Her first two goals came in the first 6:06 of the match, and then she added two more tallies in the second half. The next day, she picked up two goals, two assist, and five ground balls against Albertus. On Saturday, she tied her season high with five goals, plus five ground balls, six draw controls, and two caused turnovers against Colby-Sawyer. She has moved into a tie for sixth in the GNAC with 39 goals and has notched nine hat tricks (three or more goals) this season, seven of those coming in conference matches. |

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Brittany McPherson, Regis (Mass.) (So., GK - Lynn, Mass.) McPherson stopped 25 of the 40 shots she faced (.625), allowing just 15 goals in a 3-0 week. After allowing just four goals against Thomas Tuesday, she came back the next day and made eight saves while allowing just three goals against Albertus Magnus for a .727 save percentage, her second-highest percentage of the season. Saturday, she made a career-high 15 saves, including 11 saves in the second half to prevent Colby-Sawyer from starting a rally, as she posted a .652 save percentage. After losing its season opener, Regis has now won 12 straight games, tied for the second-longest winning streak in Division III and setting a program record for longest winning stretch. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Jessica Borduas, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Fr, A - Woodbury, Conn.) Borduas scored a game-high four goals to power Emmanuel to a 15-5 road victory over Norwich University in the Saints only action last week. Her first goal of the night proved to be the game-winner and she would add one caused turnover in the win. |
WEEK 7 HONOR ROLL
Bethany Bonilla, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Sr, GK - Milton, Mass.) - Bonilla was impressive in the Saints only contest last week, making 12 saves in a 15-5 road win at Norwich. The senior saw 17 total shots on net to record a .706 save percentage in the victory, playing all 60 minutes for Emmanuel.
Jessica Borduas, Emmanuel (Mass.) Jordan McComb, Lasell (Sr., M - Cumberland, R.I.) - Tallied eight goals and four assists for 12 points in a 2-0 week for the Lasers with a pair of GNAC victories, while also collecting eight ground balls, six draw controls and and five caused turnovers. She scored three goals and added an assist, six draw controls, four ground balls and two caused turnovers Wednesday in Lasell's overtime win over Simmons, and finished with five goals, three assists, four ground balls and three caused turnovers in a victory Saturday over USJ.
Amanda Barton, Rivier (Jr, Midfield - Pelham, NH) - The junior had 12 goals and four assists for 16 points in a 1-2 week, including a pair of five-goal, two-assist performances against Dean and GNAC foe Simmons.
Mallory Cottam, Simmons (Senior, M - Hope, R.I.) - In two matches, the senior tallied 12 points on nine goals and three assists to go with 12 ground balls, 14 draw controls and five caused turnovers. The midfielder scored at least four goals in both games and began the week with four goals and an assist to go with eight draw controls, three ground balls and a caused turnover vs. Lasell College on April 10. Cottam capped the week with seven points on five goals and two assists at Rivier University on April 13 and added six draw controls and four caused turnovers, while matching the school record with nine ground balls.
