Summary
Salve Regina University took two of three doubles, but Suffolk University scored singles wins at Nos. 1, 3, 5, and 6, to defeat the Seahawks, 5-4. Five different Seahawks won matches today, with Abigail Burke (Harwich, Mass.) successful in doubles and singles. Rams junior Elena Cisneros Garcia won the clinching match by outlasting Erin Stangel (Old Saybrook, Conn.) at No. 3 singles (7-5, 6-3).

Series and Streaks
The series started 34 years ago and is now even at three wins apiece. The first four meetings came in an 11-year period (1983-1993) before resuming last season in Winchester, Mass.; the Rams won that match, 6-3, at the Winchester Indoor Lawn Tennis Center.
