GNAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week Report #4

TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Ashley Keleher, Colby-Sawyer (Sr.)

Colby-Sawyer senior Ashley Keleher earned two top-five finishes at the Trinity Invitational this weekend. She earned a second place finish in the 400m dash with a time of 57.01, which placed her in 28th on the NCAA Division III Outdoor Qualifying List. She also finished fifth in the 200m dash, clocking in at 25.75.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Desiree Robinson, Emmanuel (Jr.)

Emmanuel junior Desiree Robinson recorded a 11.09m (36’4.75”) mark in the triple jump taking second place at the 2024 UMass-Lowell George Davis Invitational, which was a top-100 distance on the NCAA Division III Outdoor Qualifying List. She also competed in the high jump and the long jump, making 1.48m (4’10.25”) and 5.32m (17’5.5”), respectively. The long jump mark, set a new school record and qualified her for the Division III New England Championships. She also qualified in the triple jump.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Breya Whitman, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.)

Saint Joseph’s (Maine) freshman Breya Whitman finished second in the high jump at the Maine State Pine Tree Classic with a mark of 1.52m (4’11.75”). She also competed in the triple jump, placing ninth with a distance of 9.47m (31’1”).


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Anna Bieszczad, Colby-Sawyer - Finished third in the triple jump with a personal-best time of 10.70m (35'1.25").

Samantha Perkins, Regis - Placed sixth overall in the javelin at the Sean Collier Invitational at MIT. Registered a mark of 32.56m (106' 10").

Brooklyn Goff, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Earned two top-three finishes in the hurdle events at the Maine State Pine Tree Classic. Finished first in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:09.54 and also placed third in the 100m hurdles, recording a time of 16.25.
