MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Benjamin Stark, Norwich (Jr., Montverde, Fla.) - Stark was unreal in Norwich's dominant sweep of Plymouth State and Husson over the weekend, first opening the dual meet as part of the winning 400 yard medley relay team that posted a 3:42.54 time. Stark would then collect a pair of pool record-breaking victories in the 200 yard butterfly and 500 yard freestyle, before closing the competition as the opening leg in the 200 yard freestyle relay. That 200 yard freestyle relay edged past Husson's A team by 87 milliseconds to capture victory, breaking a pool record set by Western Connecticut State earlier this year. |

WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Nikky Avise, Norwich (Sr., Owens Cross Roads, Ala.) - Avise made history in Norwich's dual meet at Plymouth State, scooping up three individual wins while smashing pool records in all three events. She first posted a 25.20 time in the 50 yard freestyle before returning just a few events later to post another pool record-breaking 55.35 and win the 100 yard freestyle. She would later participate in and win the 50 yard butterfly behind a 26.93 time, two seconds better than a competitor from Plymouth State, breaking a 36-year old pool record set by former Norwich swimmer and All-American Lynn Kucera in the process. |

MEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Michael Curtis, Regis (Fr., Burlington, Mass.) - On Saturday in a dual meet against Elms, Curtis broke his own six-dive school record with a score of 161.65, plus he earned a five-dive score of 113.90 earlier in the meet. Those efforts came after he completed the 1650 freestyle in 23:45.43 |

WOMEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Reilly Laitala, Norwich (Fr., Sterling, Mass.) - Laitala impressed again in diving competition in Norwich's outing at Plymouth State, first finishing as the Cadets' highest-finisher in the 1 meter diving with a strong 182.80 score. She would later claim a key individual victory in the 3 meter dive with a 183.95 score, aiding Norwich to a win over the Panthers and an impressive showing against Husson. |
