BOSTON, Mass. – The honors continue to roll in for Emmanuel College guard Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda (Cambridge, Mass.) as the senior was recognized by CoSIDA, the WBCA and D3hoops.com for three separate accolades. Ramirez-Tejeda was tabbed a College Sports Information Director's of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American, earning First Team honors after landing on the Second Team last season.

Additionally, the Cambridge, Mass. native was named a Women's Basketball Coaches' Association (WBCA) All-American Honorable Mention while also earning D3Hoops.com First Team All-Region honors in the Northeast region. Players chosen to the D3hoops.com All-Region team are eligible for All-American selection.

This is the 19th year D3hoops.com has named an All-Region team and this year's All-America team will be the 23rd annual All-American selections. The D3hoops.com All-American teams, along with those of the respective coaches' associations, are the only ones recognized in the NCAA record book.

Ramirez-Tejeda became the program's first-ever CoSIDA Academic All-American last season and was one of only two returners nationally to repeat as an Academic All-American in NCAA Division III Women's Basketball joining Eva Reinertsen (UW-Superior) as the only two. The Criminal Justice major sports a 3.89 GPA and is also a two-sport athlete at Emmanuel.

The senior earns these honors after averaging 19.3 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 48.5% (238-491) from the field during the 2019-20 season. She ranks first in NCAA DIII Women's Basketball in double-doubles (23), fifth in rebounds (347) and offensive rebounds per game (5.4), and 15th in points (559).

During her senior season, Ramirez-Tejeda moved into third all-time at EC in career points (1,596) and second in rebounds (935) in just three seasons with the Saints.

This winter, the three-time Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) First Team All-Conference selection established a new Emmanuel single-season rebounding standard at 347 boards. The 2020 GNAC Player of the Year also owns the EC single-season scoring record with 626 points from the 2018-19 campaign.

Ramirez-Tejeda capped her senior campaign with 56 career double-doubles over just three seasons to rank sixth all-time for players with only three playing seasons and 31st all-time among NCAA Division III women's hoopsters.
