RUNNER/ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Jacob Pelletier, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (So.) Saint Joseph's (Maine) sophomore Jacob Pelletier got his season off to a strong start, picking up a first-place finish in his first race of the year. Pelletier was the first to cross the finish line at the Colby-Sawyer Charger X-C Invitational. He completed the 5-kilometer course in 16:06, 21 seconds faster than the runner-up in a race that featured five GNAC programs. The Monks also finished first in the team competition.

WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Hayden Goyette, Colby-Sawyer (Jr.) - Placed in second in the Colby-Sawyer Charger X-C Invitational 5K with a time of 16:27.3.

Alek Villavicencio, Norwich (Fr.) - Logged a top-three finish at the season-opening Castleton Invitational. Was just one of five runners to finish with a sub-30 time, posting a 29:21 time on a 5:55 pace. Helped the Cadets to a second-place finish.

Benjamin Happenny, Regis (Jr.) - Was Regis' top finisher for the 15th consecutive time at the Colby-Sawyer Charger X-C Invitational. Finished seventh overall with a time of 17:34, his collegiate-best 5K time by 30 seconds.

Braeden Laframboise, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Placed third overall at the 9th Annual Wheaton & Babson Season opener with a 5k time of 16:27.20.
