PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Peyton Meuse, Colby-Sawyer (So.)

Sophomore Peyton Meuse kicked off the spring portion of Colby-Sawyer’s season with a strong performance playing both singles and doubles for the Chargers. He bounced between the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles pairs on the team’s spring trip to Florida, earning victories against Western Connecticut State, Washington College, Belhaven, and Brooklyn College. He also performed well in singles play, slotting anywhere from the No. 1 to No. 3 spots. He picked up several wins at No. 3 and closed out the trip with a win as the Chargers ace against Brooklyn College.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Dmitrii Semenov, Eastern Nazarene (Fr.)

Freshman Dmitrii Semenov opened the spring portion of Eastern Nazarene’s men’s tennis season in the No. 1 slots in both singles and doubles. His singles play was especially strong, earning a number of straight-set victories, including wins against Lebanon Valley, Baldwin Wallace, and John Carroll. He also went 3-2 as part of the Lions No. 1 doubles pair.
