SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

Will Thompson, Norwich (Jr.)

Junior Will Thompson was atop of the swimming leaderboards in every event for the Cadets this past Friday (Nov. 17) in a victory over the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.). Thompson first swam the second leg of the first-place 200-yard medley relay team for the Cadets. The junior then followed up with a first-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (22.75) and closed out the day with another individual event victory in the 200-yard breaststroke, capturing a time of 2:24.14.

DIVER OF THE WEEK

Aidan Grady, Norwich (Sr.)

Senior Aidan Grady dove into first place twice once again for the Cadets in their meet against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.). Grady placed first in two one-meter diving events for Norwich as the senior posted a score of 157.70 in the first event and then a 235.00 mark in the second diving competition.

 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Andrew Clark, Norwich (Fr.)

First-year Andrew Clark continued to be a key contributor for the Cadets in the pool. The first-year finished second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:03.97) before claiming a victory in the 500-yard freestyle, swimming a time of 5:14.26. Then, Clark swam the fastest split for the Cadets on one of Norwich’s 200-yard freestyle relay teams.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Malachi Blatchley, Albertus Magnus – Won the 200-yard freestyle 2:02.47, the 50-yard freestyle (26.37) and 50-yard butterfly (28.11) in dual meet against Elms on Saturday (Nov. 18).
