SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

Ryan Kim, Regis (So.)

Sophomore Ryan Kim started the 2023-24 Swimming & Diving season strong for Regis. On Oct. 7, Kim collected two event wins, finishing first in both the 50 and 100 yard breaststroke. On Saturday (Oct. 14) at Babson, he picked up the Pride's only event victory, winning the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:04.03. He also finished third in the 50 yard breaststroke in 29.93 seconds.

DIVER OF THE WEEK

Liam Austin, Regis (So.)

Sophomore Liam Austin performed well for Regis. He broke the five-dive and six-dive one meter diving school records on October 7th. On Saturday (Oct. 14) at Babson, he posted a personal-best score of 152.30 in three meter diving and then posted a score of 156.00 in one meter diving, finishing third in both events.

 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Casey Whittaker, Regis (Fr.)

Freshman Casey Whittaker made his collegiate debut for the Pride Saturday (Oct. 14) against Babson. After anchoring the 200 yard medley relay with a 50 yard free split of 24.01 seconds, he finished fourth in the 200 yard freestyle in 1:58.62 and fifth in the 50 yard freestyle in 24.85 seconds. Whittaker then posted his team's fastest 50 free split at 23.52 seconds.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Tristen Leys, Colby-Sawyer - Led his team to voctory after winning all three of his events, (200 Yard IM, 100 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Breaststroke) scoring a total of 27 points.

Shawn Perry, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Won the 100 Yard Backstroke and placed second in the 200 Yard IM and 100 Yard Breaststroke events.
