Player of the Week
Danny Hooper (Wakefield, R.I.), Senior, Attack, Rivier University
Hooper scored 5 goals and handed out an assist in Rivier University's 17-0 victory over non-conference foe Green Mountain College. The senior forward also collected 10 groundballs from his attack position creating additional offensive opportunities all afternoon for the Raiders. A four year starter, Hooper attained single game career highs both in goals and groundballs.
Goalie of the Week
Kyle Cordaro (Worcester, Mass.), Senior, Goalie, Mount Ida College
Corado made 15 saves and allowed just two goals in Mount Ida's opening win of the year, a 6-2 victory over Southern Maine. Mount Ida's home opener, the senior goalie kept the Mustangs' in the game against a tough Salve Regina team by making 21 stops and holding the Seahawks to 11 goals, but just five through the first 45 minutes.
Daniel Johnson (Plymouth, Mass.), Freshman, Attack, Becker College
Becker freshman Daniel Johnson tallied a hat trick and an assist in his first collegiate game as the Hawks soared to a 12-5 victory over Emerson on Saturday afternoon.
