NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Senior Victor Ljuljdjuraj (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) of the Albertus Magnus men's basketball team has been named to the 2015 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III All-America Second Team. Ljuljdjuraj is just one of three Albertus players in program history to earn the elite recognition.
The senior center was most recently chosen as a D3hoops.com All-Northeast Region First Team member and earned a spot on the West Roster for the2015 Reese's Division III College All-Star game.
Ljuljdjuraj was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Year as well as the Defensive Player of the Year. He also earned a spot on the GNAC All-Conference First Team and was named the GNAC Tournament Most Valuable Player. He earned All-Tournament Team honors as well.
Ljuljdjuraj led the nation with 4.3 blocks per game this season and averaged a double-double with 18.7 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. He also shot 56.2% from the field.
