GNAC Indoor Track & Field Meet Manager

Longtime Boston Marathon course manager and running legend Josh Nemzer, who has ran more than 130 marathons, has served as the meet manager at the 2020 and 2022 GNAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, both of which took place at Boston University's Track & Tennis Center

The Brooklyn native works with the GNAC's track & field coaches from the GNAC's five sponsoring programs: Colby-Sawyer College, Emmanuel College, Lasell College, Regis College, and Saint Joseph's College of Maine.

Nemzer began working for the Boston Athletic Association (BAA) in 1997 to help coordinate key operations for the Boston Marathon. The 1980 Northeastern University graduate also worked worked closely with renowned Boston Marathon race director and running companion Dave McGillivray. Prior to forming Nemzer Event Management LLC in 2015, Nemzer worked with McGillivray and BAA to help strategically plan the 2014 Boston Marathon in the wake of the 2013 tragedy. He served as the event's operations manager one year after the devastating bombings by the finish line.

Founded in 1995, the GNAC began sponsoring outdoor track & field in 2017-18, with Regis serving as the conference's distinguished championship host in 2018 and 2019, before Colby-Sawyer hosted in 2022. The COVID-19 pandemic led to the cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 events, as well as the 2021 Indoor Championship.
