Janard Jones begins his first year with the GNAC as its Social Media Specialist in 2023-24.

In the position, Jones’ duties include social media management, coordination of the GNAC’s efforts to celebrate DIII week on social platforms, assisting with weekly player of the week communications and reports and All-Conference selections, attending and assisting with event planning for championship events, and direct supervision of an undergraduate social media intern.

Prior to the GNAC, he interned at Lesley University handling sport information duties during his undergraduate year. He was most recently a graduate assistant for sports information at GNAC member Lasell University. He earned his Master’s in Sport Leadership, while performing his GA duties at Lasell.

Jones also holds an associate’s degree from Bunker Hill Community College and a bachelor’s degree from Salem State in Sport Management. He was a member of the men’s basketball teams at both institutions.

During his tenure, he helped lead Bunker Hill to a Regional Championship and the most wins in program history in 2019, while earning all-conference honors. At Salem State, he earned MASCAC All-Academic honors in 2020.
