GNAC Names 1361 Student-Athletes to Academic All-Conference Team

WINTHROP, Mass. — The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) named its 2022-23 Academic All-Conference Team on Thursday (June 15) afternoon. The list includes a 1361 student-athletes, which sets a new league-high.

In order to be eligible for academic all-conference, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA and have completed second-year academic status.

Lasell led the way this year with 129 selections, followed close behind by Norwich at 117. Three other schools reached triple-digits as Saint Joseph’s (Maine) (114), Johnson & Wales (102), and Regis (102) all crossed the threshold.

This the sixth year in a row that more than 1000 student-athletes have earned Academic All-Conference honors.
