GNAC social media efforts

WINTHROP, Mass.  Saint Joseph's College of Maine senior Hannah Flaherty, a Monks women's lacrosse student-athlete, has been hired as the GNAC's Social Media Specialist for the remainder of 2022-23 academic year, as announced by the league office on Monday morning.

An Art & Design major, the Waltham, Mass. native is currently in her third academic year as an SJC Athletics Communications assistant under Corey McCarthy and Megan Dunlap. She is responsible for creating social media graphics and feature videos to help promote the Monks Athletics brand.

On the lacrosse field as a defender, Flaherty has played in 14 career games, accumulating three goals, six groundballs, and five caused turnovers to her resume. With the GNAC, Flaherty will help develop social media campaigns for the conference office, taking the lead on graphic design efforts and coordinating Instagram content with the direction of the GNAC SAAC Commissioner's Council.

The senior steps into the GNAC role for 2022 SJC grad Emma Auclair, who is currently the Assistant Sports Information Director at fellow GNAC member Colby-Sawyer College.
