Conference Office Announces GNAC Tournament Schedule Changes

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WINTHROP, Mass. – Due to an impending nor'easter set to hit the region this weekend, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference has announced numerous changes to its upcoming 2018 GNAC Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer and Field Hockey Tournament schedules. The league was also forced to push back the 2018 GNAC Cross Country Championships back one day to Sunday, October 28.

It will still be hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine in Standish, Maine. For the complete tournament schedules headed into the weekend, please see below.

Fans should note that no predetermined semifinal or championship dates have been altered despite this weekend's flurry of changes. The GNAC Men's Soccer Semifinals are still slated for Tuesday, Oct. 30, while the GNAC Women's Soccer and GNAC Field Hockey Semifinals are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 31. As for the GNAC Women's Volleyball Tournament, the regular-season will wrap up this weekend in advance of next week's tournament dates (Oct. 30, Nov. 1, Nov. 3).

The league office greatly appreciates the communication of its members and administrators collectively working together across the league to reschedule previously announced dates and times, as the GNAC continues to emphasize the student-athlete experience and promote student-athlete success.
