Saint Joseph's Maine Cross Country Blog: A Tuesday Run

By Joe DiSalvo, Saint Joseph's Maine Cross Country

We couldn’t ask for a better day for a run earlier this week. On Tuesday, it was mid 60’s with a little bit of clouds. At practice, we decided to tone things down a bit and get in a nice easy point-to-point fun run to the Historic Covered Bridge in Gorham, Maine.

We ran through some beautiful farm land, and saw plenty of horses, cows, chickens, and sheep. After we had a few vans pick us up, both the Saint Joseph's men’s and women’s cross country teams got together for a meal. What a great afternoon!

GNAC Note: DiSalvo ran in nine events as a junior captain last fall and finished 12th at the 2013 GNAC Men's Cross Country Championship. His Monks will host this year's conference title meet on Saturday, November 1.
