Sophomore Kiana Thompson picked up two points for Regis this week as it went on the road to claim a 5-1 victory in the GNAC Tournament semifinals and earn its spot in the GNAC Women’s Tennis Championship match for the third year in a row. Thompson played at the top of the lineup in both disciplines, earning an 8-2 win doubles and a 6-0, 6-1 victory in singles. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Maria Espinosa Lopez, Colby-Sawyer (Fy.) Colby-Sawyer first-year Maria Espinosa Lopez had a strong showing this week, culminating in her contribution to the Chargers’ GNAC Semifinal victory on Saturday (Oct. 14). Prior to that performance, she earned victories as part of the top doubles pair against Plymouth State and Bentley. She also had No. 1 singles victory against the Panthers. |
