Blazers Drop GNAC Match Against the Monks

STANDISH, ME - The Elms College men's soccer dropped the GNAC match against Saint Joseph's College of Maine last night, falling 4-1 to the Monks.

How it Happened:

The Monks started off the game with a goal in the firs 1:35, scored by Austin Ward to put them up 1-0 in the first half. Saint Joseph's outshot the Blazers 13-3 in the first half, and had the upper hand in corner kicks having two and Elms only recieving one. Collin Leidke would four saves out of five shots on-goal for the first half.

Blazers Brandyn Costa attempted to put Elms on the scoreboard at the 20 minute me with a shot to the bottom left of the net. But was saved by Monks goalkeeper Mike Sherican.

Saint Joseph's scored their second and third goals within a minute of eachother in the 61'st mark puting them up 3-0 in the second half. Musa Jiana was awarded a penalty kick in the 72nd minute to get the Blazers on the board. Elms would fall to the Monks 4-1.
