Women’s Hoops Blows Past Bulldogs

NASHUA, NH: Rivier women's basketball opened up conference action this afternoon victorious against the Dean College Bulldogs.

THE BASICS:

- Score: Rivier 85, Dean 43

- Records: Rivier (4-5, 1-0 GNAC), Dean (0-5, 0-1 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  This was a very one-sided contest seeing the Raiders take all quarters other than the second, where both teams only put up ten points each.

- The Raiders had four student-athletes in double digits, led by Hannah Muchemore (Nashua, NH) with 19 points to go along with her six assists. Brianna Wilcox (Londonderry, NH) made her collegiate debut this afternoon, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.

- The Bulldogs shot just 20.3% from the field. They were 0-for-11 from deep. Tori Andrewski led the way for Dean with 13 points and 12 rebounds, followed by Tori Viau, who added 12 points of her own.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Shooting Percentage: Rivier 40.3%, Dean 20.3%
