GNAC Softball Athlete of the Week Report #4

PLAYER/ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Madisyn Crossman, Anna Maria (Fr., C/SS)

Freshman Madisyn Crossman had a great showing in Anna Maria’s doubleheader sweep of Fisher this week. She had two hits in each contest with all four hits going for extra bases. In the opener, she went 2-for-2 with a double and triple, while driving in two runs. She had a double and a triple in the late game as well, scoring two more runs and driving in three. In total she had five RBI and four runs scored, while batting .800/.800/2.000.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Eden Forget, Anna Maria (Sr., P)

Anna Maria senior Eden Forget completely shut down Fisher this week, pitching a five-inning, complete game one-hitter. Forget made things difficult for Falcons batters striking out 10 of them among her 15 recorded outs. She did not walk a batter in the contest.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Skylar Arent, Albertus Magnus - Had back-to-back three hit games in a doubleheader against MCLA, coming around to score four times and drove in two. Batted .600/.600/1.000 overall in Albertus Magnus' four contests.

Ema Signore, Albertus Magnus - Was strong in two relief appearances for Albertus Magnus. Allowed just three hits and one earned run in five innings of work, earning one win out of the bullpen.

Ally Hyde, Simmons - Performed welll at the plate and in the circle in a doubleheader against Eastern Nazarene. Went 3-for-6 at the plate with a run scored and three RBI. Also tossed a five-inning complete game for the win in the late game. Allowed one earned run, three hits, and struck out five.
