The Bethany, Conn. native registered 14 against MIT to start the week before he collected seven in one set against Elms and followed with 10 in a sweep over No. 9 nationally-ranked Wentworth to close out regular season play. |

DEFENSIVE PLAYER/ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Ryan Mesnik, Lasell (Fr., LB) First-Year Ryan Mesnik was consistent defensively for the Lasers as the Fullerton, Calif. native averaged 2.44 digs per set (22 total). Mesnik collected six against MIT before he put up eight apiece in two match victories over Dean and Wentworth. |

SETTER OF THE WEEK Trystan Maloney, Lasell (Fr., S) First-Year Trystan Maloney finished strong in what was an impressive freshman campaign. Despite appearing in only two matches, the Colorado Springs, Colo. native averaged 9.67 assists per set, totaling 58 on the week. Maloney put up 28 against MIT before finishing the regular season with 30 in a sweep over Wentworth. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Bryson Beck, Emerson - Totaled 107 assists across four matches (8.23 assists per set) including 48 in a four set victory over Rivier. Collected 13 digs (1.00 d/s) on the week as well.
Chase Fagen, Emerson - Recorded 58 kills (4.46 k/s) across four matches while collecting 17 digs (1.31 d/s). Had 17 kills over Regis before collecting 26 in a four-set regular season finale victory over Rivier.
Trey Guest, Emmanuel - Had 26 kills (3.25 kills/s) on a .468% attack percentage in three GNAC victories with 22 of them coming against Elms (12) and Emerson (10).
Tyrell Bucasas, Regis - Dished out 53 assists (8.83 per set) across the two matches, guiding the Pride's efficient attack. In the sweep over Emerson, he tallied 26 assists, six digs, and one block, followed by a 27-assist, four-dig performance against Dean, where he also recorded two kills and an ace. His steady playmaking and strong defensive contributions were key in securing back-to-back 3-0 victories as the Pride head into postseason play.
John Nangle, Regis - Recorded nine total blocks (1.50 per set) in two GNAC sweeps. Over Emerson, he notched five total blocks, three of which were solo, followed by a four-block performance against Dean, helping the Pride to back-to-back 3-0 victories, solidifying their momentum heading into the postseason.
Brandon Valdes, Regis - Recorded 16 kills (3.20 per set) and added four service aces (0.80 per set) to power the Pride's offense. In the sweep over Emerson, he tallied nine kills and two aces, followed by a seven-kill, two-ace performance against Dean, where he also contributed five digs. His second ace against Dean marked his 44th of the season, setting a new single-season program record for service aces.
