OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Michael Shelley, Emmanuel (Jr., OH) Junior Michael Shelley had an offensive performance that spearheaded the Saints’ attack in a huge GNAC victory over nationally-ranked Lasell. The San Francisco, Calif. native put up a game-high and season-high 31 kills on a .393% attack percentage while putting up seven digs and four total blocks against the Lasers in a five-set thrilling conference victory. Shelley collected eight kills in just two sets earlier on in the week. The junior put up 39 total kills, averaging a whopping 5.57 kills per set on .447%. Shelley leads the conference in kills per set with 4.10, which is also good for top 20 in the nation. |

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Jay Bodhidatta, Regis (So., OH/DS) Sophomore Jay Bodhidatta was dominant defensively for the Pride as the Bangkok, Thailand native averaged an incredible 3.91 digs per set (43 total) in a 2-1 week for Regis. Bodhidatta reached double-digit digs across all three matches, collecting 17 against Rivier early on in the week, 12 against Wentworth, and 14 in another match against Rivier to close out the week. The league-leader in both digs (275) and digs per set (2.96), the sophomore is amongst the top-10 in division iii in these categories. |

SETTER OF THE WEEK Trystan Maloney, Lasell (Fr., S) First-Year Trystan Maloney added to his league-leading (9.35 assists per set) as the Colorado Springs, Colorado native put up a total of 97 assists across two matches, averaging 10.78 assists per set. Maloney put up 42 assists in a four-set victory over Endicott before collecting a career-high 55 assists in a five-set match against Emmanuel. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Benjamin Walinjom, Lasell (Fr., Op.) First-Year Benjamin Walinjom had a solid two match week for the Lasers as the North Quincy, Mass. native collected 25 total kills, averaging 2.78 kills per set while collecting seven total blocks (0.78 blocks per set). To start the week, Walinjom had ten kills, four digs, and six blocks in a non-conference win over Endicott before totaling 15 kills on .407% in five sets against Emmanuel. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Bryson Beck, Emerson - Totaled 123 assists across four matches (8.79 assists per set) including 40 in a five set match to American International College (AIC) and 36 in a sweep to Elms. Collected 13 digs (0.93 d/s) and nine total blocks (0.64 b/s) on the week.
Chase Fagen, Emerson - Recorded 46 kills across four matches while collecting 35 digs (2.50 d/s). Put up a double-double of 12 kills and 16 digs vs. AIC and followed with 13 kills against Rivier and 14 in a sweep over Elms.
Quincy Moore, Emmanuel - Put up 58 assists (11.60 a/s) and seven blocks (1.40 b/s) in a five-set victory over Lasell. Added five assists in one set against Curry earlier in the week to total 63 on the week (10.50 a/s).
Ryan Mesnik, Lasell - Totaled 25 digs on the week (2.78 d/s). Had 13 in win over Endicott and 12 against Emmanuel.
Theo Zaharewicz, Lasell - Averaged 4.22 kills per set (38 total) in a 1-1 week for Lasell on a .358% attack percentage. Put up 17 against Endicott before collecting 21 against Emmanuel.
Tyrell Bucasas, Regis - Dished out 99 assists across three matches, averaging 9.00 assists per set. He opened the week with a 37-assist (9.25 a/s), eight-dig performance in a 3-1 win over Rivier, adding two kills and three service receptions. In a setback against Wentworth, he contributed 21 assists which put him at 2,000 career assists in the crimson and gold. He closed out the week in dominant fashion, tallying 41 assists (10.25 a/s) and five digs in another 3-1 win over Rivier.
Jalen Watt, Regis - Totaled 37 kills, averaging 3.36 kills per set and collecting 14 digs at 1.27 digs per set. Watt recorded double-digit kills twice in both victories over Rivier with 19 and 12.
Mekhi Burns, Wentworth - Totaled 28 digs (2.80 d/s) in a 2-1 week. Put up seven against nationally-ranked Southern Virginia before collecting 12 against Regis and nine against Rivier.
