SWIMMER OF THE WEEK Arthur Abrams, Norwich (Sr.) Senior Arthur Abrams had an impressive and historic weekend for the Cadets in their rout of Plymouth State on Saturday afternoon. He secured a pair of solo victories, topping his nearest competitor by over 10 seconds with a 2:21.08 time in the 200-yard breaststroke to set a new pool record at the Panthers' PSU Natatorium. He secured one of the most impressive victories of the afternoon during the 100-yard IM, tallying a 58.03 time to beat out three other scoring competitors. Abrams also saw action as part of a 200-yard medley relay team to start the meet, as well as the 50-yard butterfly, posting the third-highest score of 11 competitors. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Aiden Hebb, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Fr.) First-year Aiden Hebb continued his record-breaking campaign, setting a new program record in the 1-Meter Diving (Six Dives) with a score of 186.59 points during the Blue Jays dual meet against Gordon College. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Kristian Adlianitski, Norwich - Posted back-to-back first-place victories in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 22.55 and 49.87 times, respectively, to set pool records in both events at the PSU Natatorium. Seen action with a pair of first-place relay teams as well, closing both the 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay events with 1:41.16 and 1:32.26 team times, respectively.
Cody Werner, Regis - Led the men's team with three first-place finishes on Saturday, winning the 200yd freestyle (2:00.35), 200yd butterfly (2:14.57), and 100yd butterfly (56.46).
