PLAYER OF THE WEEK Nathan Innerfield, Rivier (Jr., OF) Junior outfielder Nathan Innerfield provided consistent offense in two Rivier victories yesterday (Mar. 2) as the Weare, N.H. native went 5-for-7 with a .714 batting average in two games of their opening day spring break trip at Polo Grounds as part of The Ripken Experience. Innerfield went 3-for-4 in game one with four runs batted in, three of which came from a home-run and he would follow suit in game two by going 2-for-3 with two RBI's. |

PITCHER OF THE WEEK Ryan Miller, Norwich (Sr., P) Senior pitcher Ryan Miller was dominant on the mound for the Cadets in his lone start against VTSU Lyndon, only allowing three baserunners (two hits and a walk) through six innings while striking out nine and earning the win in the season opener. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Jack Kane, University of Saint Joseph (Fr., INF) First-year infielder Jack Kane had a strong freshman debut, leading USJ to two victories as the West Hartford, Conn. native slashed .625/.625/1.125 averages, totaling nine bases and three runs batted in during the process. Kane started strong going 3-for-4 against Gordon on two RBI's, including an RBI triple and followed against Keene State with a 2-for-4 performance, including another RBI triple. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Tommy Sasso, Anna Maria - Went 4-for-5 with two RBI's and a home run for the Amcats in a 1-1 week. Tallied a .800% batting average, .857% on base percentage and a 1.600% slugging percentage.
Owen Sullivan, Anna Maria - Pitched five innings while only allowing one hit with six strikeouts.
Matthew Fletcher, Lasell - Struck out six in five innings, collecting a win over Suffolk.
Connor Freitas, Lasell - Batted .429%, going 3-for-7, collecting three RBI's in game two vs Suffolk in which he collected a home run.
Brock Carpenter, Norwich - Helped drive the Cadet offense this week slashing .444/.615/.444 in addition to drawing 3 walks and crossing the plate 4 times in 4 contests.
Ethan Slowik, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Struck out seven in five innings while only allowing three hits and a run, picking up the win over Keene State.
