GNAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week Report #5

RUNNER/ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Jordyn Sreitmatter, Mitchell (Fr.)

Freshman Jordyn Sreitmatter was the top female finisher at the Mitchell Invitational on Friday afternoon (Sept. 27), as they  hosted Dean at Stenger Farm Park in Waterford, CT. Sreitmatter completed the three-mile race in a time of 24:08.5, which was over four minutes faster than the runner-up.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Caroline Carter, Johnson & Wales - Finished in a 27:28.0 time for the Wildcats, leading her to third-place at the Fuller Invitational.

Delaney Whitmarsh, Norwich - Led the Cadets to a second-place team finish running in a time of 26:19.10, which placed her ninth overall at the Founding Tree Invitational.
