
WINTHROP, Mass. - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced its 2024-25 Women’s Indoor Track & Field major award winners on Wednesday afternoon.
The winners were recognized for their performance throughout the entire indoor season, including the 2025 GNAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. The honorees were selected by a vote conducted by the league’s seven indoor track & field head coaches.
Lulani Haslinger was named Indoor Track Athlete/Rookie of the Year while Desiree Robinson was selected as Indoor Field Athlete of the Year. Emmanuel College won coaching staff of the year as well while Regis College was the recipient of this year's institutional sportsmanship award.
In addition to this year’s award winners, the medalists in each event at the 2025 GNAC Championships were recognized as All-Conference performers (List coming soon) and one student-athlete from each team was selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

TRACK ATHLETE/ROOKIE OF THE YEAR Lulani Haslinger, Johnson & Wales Haslinger was amazing in her first season as the Groton, N.Y. native won the 800m (2:23.41), Mile (5:34.85), and 3K (11:33.42) at the conference championship and then finished off the day anchoring JWU's DMR for the win as well (13:44.15). At the conference championship her 800m time, qualified her for D3 New England championships in which she topped her time with a 2:23.22. Lulani has the conference leading time in all of her events as a rookie. Haslinger won both GNAC Track Athlete and Rookie of the Week twice this past winter. |

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE YEAR Desiree Robinson, Emmanuel Robinson won every event in the GNAC Indoor Championships for the Saints as the New Haven, Conn. native took gold in three events which were the high jump (1.51m), triple jump (10.98m), and the long jump (5.04m). All three finishes in the conference championship gave her the conference lead in all three events as the Senior was a huge part of Emmanuel winning their second consecutive GNAC Indoor Track and Field Title. |
