SWIMMER OF THE WEEK Camelia Hannah, Simmons (Sr.) Senior swimmer Camelia Hannah was one of four Simmons swimmers to secure first place honors in a non-conference dual meet against the University of New England on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 16). The New Hampshire native placed first in the 50-yard backstroke, touching the wall one second ahead of the runner-up with a time of 30.85. Six events later in the 100-yard backstroke, Hannah secured her second first place of the day clocking a time of 1:08.27. |

DIVER OF THE WEEK Reilly Laitala, Norwich (Jr.) Junior Reilly Laitala was automatic yet again in diving competition, sweeping the field against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn) and Saint Michael's. Against USJ, Laitala earned a pair of first-place finishes in the one meter diving six optional (149.35) and one meter diving five voluntary (164.93). The next day against Saint Michael's, Laitala led the women's team in solo victories, racking up a pair of 1 meter diving wins on 207.75 and 153.50 scores. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Chaelin Humphrey, Simmons (Fr.) First-year swimmer Chaelin Humphrey was one of four swimmers to claim a first place finish in a non-conference dual meet against the University of New England. In a tight 50-yard butterfly, Humphrey touched the wall with four tenths of a second faster than the runner-up, clocking as season-best time of 30.33. Additionally, Humphrey also posted as season-best time of 1:07.53 in the 100-yard fly to finish second. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Brandy Lewis, Norwich - Won the 1650 freestyle in a time of 18:59.65 and the 400 IM on a 5:11.66 effort for the Cadets. Finished second against Saint Michael's individually in the 200 freestyle (2:08.14) and 500 freestyle (5:42.58). Swam legs for both runner-up relay teams in the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays.
