PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Avary Hall, Regis (So., F)

Sophomore Avary Hall started the season off strong for Regis on Friday (Aug. 30) in a victory against UMass Dartmouth. In the contest, the sophomore notched her first career hat trick in a 4-1 win vs. UMass Dartmouth. Hall leads the conference in goals (3) and points (6) after week one.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

Kortney Clark, Anna Maria (So., GK)

Sophomore goalkeeper Kortney Clark posted an impressive 32 saves in a 5-0 loss vs. Springfield College. Clark held the Pride scoreless through the first half, making 15 saves and kept them scoreless up until the 60th minute. 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Marcie Iannico, Johnson & Wales (Fy., F)

First-year forward Marcie Iannico scored her first collegiate goal midway through the second half of their season opener at Babson. It proved to be the game-winner in a huge 3-2 victory where the match featured a pair of NCAA Tournament participants from a year ago. 


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Erina Ismaili, Albertus Magnus - Started both games this weekend for the Falcons. Assisted on both goals in a 2-2 tie vs. Nichols and added another in a 2-1 win vs. Wentworth.

Liz McCormick, Emmanuel - Scored a first-half goal and added two assists to help lead the Saints to a 5-3 victory over Husson. Currently tied for second in the GNAC for points (4).

Elizabeth DaSilva, Lasell - Notched 15 saves in a 1-0 setback vs. Endicott. 

Daniela Mazo, Regis - Led Regis to a season-opening victory at UMass Dartmouth, posting a career-high 11 saves and a .917 save percentage during the contest.
