PLAYER OF THE WEEK Celia Melanson, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Jr., M) Junior midfielder Celia Melanson delivered offensively for the Monks in a 1-1 week as the Waterford, Maine native put up 12 points from five goals and seven assists while boasting an efficient shot percentage of .833%. Melanson started the week strong, collecting eight points from four goals and assists apiece while scooping up four ground balls in a 16-10 win over Husson. She followed with a goal and three assists for four points over defending Little East Conference Champion Plymouth State. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Alice Rourke, Lasell (Fr., M) First-year midfielder Alice Rourke played a pivotal role offensively for the Lasers as the Norwich, Conn. native collected four goals on eight shot attempts (50.0%) and winning four draw controls in the process in the 13-8 Lasell victory over Fitchburg State. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Natalie Peterson, Dean - Collected 11 points in a 2-0 week from nine goals and two assists. Scored four and assisted two over Curry and netted five over UMaine Farmington. Won 12 draw controls total as well on the week.
Madeleine Gould, Johnson & Wales - Scored four goals in both outings last week as the Wildcats opened their season 2-0. Potted four goals and won eight draw controls in a road win at Salve Regina on Tuesday, then collected seven points on four goals and three assists against Mitchell while also racking up seven draw controls against the Mariners and four ground balls.
Kaitlin Bedell, Lasell - Collected five goals and an assist for six points and causing three turnovers in victory over Fitchburg State.
Quinn Mustone, Norwich - Was unstoppable this past week for Norwich, first amassing four goals, all on four free-position opportunities, along with an assist, three ground balls, two caused turnovers, and three draw controls in a victory over Plattsburgh State. Followed that up by nearly leading Norwich to a comeback against Keene State, logging a hat trick, three ground balls, one draw control, and three caused turnovers.
Allayna Martone, Regis - Notched her first win the season in the Pride's 8-6 victory over Wentworth, where she came in off the bench and turned away eight shots. She then saved five shots in a setback at Clark. Totaled 13 saves on a 65% save percentage in a 1-1 week.
