PLAYER OF THE WEEK Mikayla Caruso, Johnson & Wales (Jr., F) Junior forward Mikayla Caruso posted a dominant double-double performance, leading her team with 24 points and 11 rebounds in an 86-72 victory over Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday (Nov. 16). Caruso showcased efficiency, shooting 9-of-13 (69.2%) from the field, 2-of-3 (66.7%) from beyond the arc, and going a perfect four-for-four from the line. She also added two blocks, two assists, and one steal in her 38 minutes of play. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Mary Turco, Elms (Fy., F/C) Elms forward/center Mary Turco averaged 16.5 points and 11.5 rebounds across two games as the Blazers finished 1-1 on the week. Turco's standout performance came in an 86-81 victory over Fitchburg State on Saturday (Nov. 16), where she delivered an impressive 27 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, and one steal while shooting an outstanding 91.7% (11-of-12) from the field in 27 minutes of action. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Elyza Mitchell, Colby-Sawyer - Recorded two double-doubles during the team's 2-0 week. She tallied 16 points and 10 rebounds in a 63-52 victory over Thomas (ME) and followed it up with another 16-point, 12-rebound performance in a hard-fought 56-51 win against Wellesley. Averaged 16 and 11 on the week with 1.5 steals and a block.
Olivia Matela, Emmanuel - Averaged 14.5 points with 4.5 rebounds and five steals a game as the Saints went 2-0 this past week. She contributed 14 points, four rebounds, five steals, and a block in a 66-50 victory over Hunter and followed that up with another solid performance, recording 15 points, five rebounds, and five more steals in a 68-54 win against Claremont.
Kiara Cerruti, Lasell - Put up 20.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg, and 1.5 blocks/steals a game as the team went 1-1. In an 83-78 victory over Eastern Connecticut State, she poured in 23 points, adding two steals and a block. She followed up with an 18-point, eight-rebound performance in a narrow 93-89 loss to Worcester State, where she also contributed two blocks and a steal.
Maren McGinn, Norwich - Was a force for the Cadets in their 2-0 week, averaging 21 points per game while shooting an efficient 62.5% from the field. She was nearly automatic from the free-throw line, going 12-of-13 (92.3%) across both games. Additionally, she contributed seven rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest.
Courtney Doherty, Regis - Powered the Regis offense during a challenging week, averaging 24.5 points per game as the Pride went 0-2. In a matchup against WPI, she delivered 28 points, five rebounds, and four assists while shooting 9-of-10 from the free-throw line. Against Clark, she tallied a game-high 21 points along with four rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
Lyric Grumblatt, Rivier - Delivered a standout performance with 31 points on 45.5% shooting in a narrow 74-71 loss to WPI. She went 4-of-7 (57.1%) from beyond the arc and was efficienct at the line with a 7-of-8 (87.5%) free-throw performance. She also contributed six rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the game.
Angelica Hurley, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Led all scorers with a game-high 24 points in a 73-67 loss to Bates, logging 35 minutes of play. She added five rebounds and two assists while shooting 9-of-20 from the field and 4-of-10 from beyond the arc.
