PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Courtney Brewster, Colby-Sawyer (Sr., F)

Senior Forward Courtney Brewster had a monster season opening game for the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer. Brewster notched a 30 point and 17 rebound double-double in the Chargers' 69-65 victory over Vermonst State Castleton. The senior went 13-for-19 from the floor, good for 68.4 percent, and collected three steals on the defensive side of the ball.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Grace Jaffray, Johnson & Wales (Fr., G)

Johnson & Wales Guard Grace Jaffray had herself a rookie debut to remember for the Wildcats, scoring 39 points (program freshman record) in a 94-69 victory over Salve Regina. The first-year shot 14-for-27 (51.9 percent) from the floor, knocking down eight from long distance. Jaffray collected six rebounds and two steals and a block defensively.

WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Tori Viau, Dean - Scored 37 points for the Bulldogs, going 13-for-19 from the floor, and collecting four steals in a 65-62 victory over Mount Holyoke.

Haley Brewster, Norwich - Notched 23 points for the Cadets , including six threes, in a setback against Vermont State Castleton.

Lyric Grumblatt, Rivier - Scored 24 points for the Raiders and collected five rebounds in a home setback vs Westfield State.

Angelica Hurley, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Averaged 18.5 points per game and nine rebounds with three steals a game in a 1-1 week for the Monks. Had a double-double (24 points, 10 rebounds) in a win against Thomas (Me.).
