PLAYER OF THE WEEK Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda, Emmanuel (Jr,. G - Cambridge, Mass.) Ramirez-Tejeda closed out the semester with a 26-point, 12-rebound double-double effort to lift Emmanuel over RIC in overtime, 75-71, last Monday, giving the Saints a 7-2 record heading into the break. She shot 11-of-23 across 44 minutes of action and added three assists to just two turnovers.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Katryna Veasey, Regis (Mass.) (Jr., F - Quincy, Mass.) A 2018 All-GNAC Women's Volleyball Second Team selection, Veasey – a first-year women's hoop student-athlete – averaged 14.0 points and 9.3 rebounds while shooting 45% (18-40 FG) in a 1-2 week for the Pride. She had a career-high 19 points with nine boards and no turnovers in Regis' first win of the season against Fitchburg State, before registering 10 points and nine caroms against Framingham State and a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double to go with four assists against Southern Maine.

WEEK 6 HONOR ROLL
Jill Johnson, Albertus Magnus (Sr., G - North Haven, Conn.) - Johnson averaged 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 2.3 steals as the Falcons went 2-0 last week in non-conference play. The senior guard recorded recorded her third double-double with 19 points and 12 assists to go with three boards and four steals in a road win at Mt. St. Vincent. Johnson followed up by posting 19 points, nine rebounds, three assists and a steal in a victory over Gordon. Overall, Johnson was 14-of-37 from the floor,  8-of-10 from the FT line, and turned it over just five times in 68 minutes of action.

Amanda Ortiz, Lasell (Jr., G - Newton, Mass.) - Ortiz scored 24 points on 10-of-20 shooting and collected five rebounds, two assists and two steals in a two-point loss to Northern Vermont-Lyndon. She scored 10 of her game-high 24 points in the fourth quarter, including four straight Lasell baskets in a two-minute stretch that sliced the deficit from 12 points to six with five minutes left.
