GNAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week Report #8

RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Jacob Pelletier, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Jr.)

Junior Jacob Pelletier led the Monks to a second-place finish in their home invitational (Running Monks Invitational) as Pelletier clocked in a time of 27:38.70, which was strong enough for a second-place finish individually.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Michael Clarke, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.)

Freshman Michael Clarke was the second runner to cross the finish line on a second-place Monks team at the Running Monks Invitational as Clarke clocked in a time of 31:14.53 to finish 17th overall.

WEEKLY HONOR ROLL.

Cody Thompson, Colby-Sawyer - Finished 49th with a 25:08 time against some of the top runners in the Northeast at the Connecticut College Invitational.

Alex Mazzarelli, Emmanuel -  Finished 21st overall at the Running Monks Invitational with a time of 32:24.4.
