GNAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week Report #4

RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Cody Thompson, Colby-Sawyer (Gr.)

Colby-Sawyer Graduate Student Cody Thompson finished 31st out of 344 runners this past weekend at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, running up against the likes of runners from several Division I and II institutions. Thompson ran a time of 25:43.35, which was a minute behind the first-place finisher.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Michael Clarke, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.)

Freshman Michael Clarke posted the best finish time for all rookies at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, running a time of 30:32.26 for the Monks.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL.

Jacob Pelletier, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Finished first for the Monks in the UMD Invitational, placing 69th out of 344 with a time of 26:16.66.

Braden Laframboise, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Finished in 31st place, the best finish for a Division III athlete at the event, after crossing the line in a time of 27:33.4 at the 56th Annual Codfish Bowl.
