GNAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week Report #3

RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Cody Thompson, Colby-Sawyer (Gr.)

Colby-Sawyer Graduate Student Cody Thompson went up against some tough competition in MIT and Dartmouth College in the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational and did not disappoint. Despite finishing 23rd, Thompson was one minute and ten seconds behind the first-place finisher, finishing with a time of 26:53.4. 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Nathan Morgan, Emmanuel (Fr.)

Freshman Nathan Morgan posted a top-10 finish for the Saints in the Elms Invitational on Saturday (Sept. 14). Morgan ran a 33:22 time in the 8k course, stamping a ninth-place spot individually.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL.

Nick Ware, Emmanuel - Finished third in the Elms Invitational, posting a time of 32:00.5.

Benjamin Happenny, Regis - Top finisher for Regis, crossing the finish line 21st overall (13th amongst DIII competitors), in the Pop Crowell Invitational at 29:05.5.
