GNAC Men's Cross Country Championship Set for November 2nd at Norwich University

The Great Northeast Athletic Conference 2024 Men's Cross Country Championship is just days away, with Norwich University preparing to host the championship event in Northfield, Vermont, on Saturday, November 2nd. The Men's 8k race is scheduled to start at 12:15p.m.

Norwich, racing on its home course, aims to claim the championship title after a second-place finish to Saint Joseph's (Maine) last season. The Cadets are projected to take first place this year, according to the pre-championship poll, with 131 points and six first-place votes. Colby-Sawyer follows closely in second with 124 points and two first-place votes, while reigning champion Saint Joseph's (Maine) rounds out the top three with 117 points and four first-place votes.

In fourth place is Emmanuel, which received 102 points, followed by Regis (92), Lasell (61), and the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (58) for the five, six, and seven spots. The remaining rankings place Rivier (57), Dean (52), Mitchell (51), Elms (43), and New England College (38) in 8-12 positions.
