
BOSTON, Mass. - For the fourth year in a row, the top-seeded Wentworth Institute of Technology claimed the Men's Volleyball Postseason title as the Leopards swept Lasell earlier this afternoon in Tansey Gymansium to claim the 2025 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) championship.
The No. 12 nationally-ranked Leopards earned the league's automatic qualifier once again and will make their fifth consecutive NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Tournament appearance as they await to learn their opponent on Monday, April 14th via the NCAA Selection Show, which is slated for a 10 A.M. ET start.
Seven student-athletes were named to the GNAC All-Tournament Team post-match. The honorees are listed below:

BOSTON, Mass. – In a three-set thriller, the top-seeded and No. 12-ranked Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team captured their fourth straight Great Northeast Athletic Conference title, edging out second-seeded Lasell in the teams' third meeting in the championship in the last four seasons.
The Black & Gold's title win on Saturday marked their sixth overall championship, all with Head Coach Evin Giglio at the helm. Wentworth will now make their fifth straight and seventh overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament next week.
Jacob Waga was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. Mason Andrade and Josh Milke each earned respective spots on the All-Tournament Team.
With the win, the Leopards improve their overall mark to 26-6. The Lasers close out 2025 with a 23-8 overall mark.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The two teams swapped scores in the first set, resulting in a 9-7 edge for the Lasers, before Lasell continued the advantage to 14-10. Kills from Waga, Alem Dubcak, and Conner Foxwell helped Wentworth claw back at 15-13 before kills by Dubcak and Andrade later on marked a 17-16 deficit. A putaway by Nicolai Bell kickstarted a 3-0 run for Wentworth, giving themselves a 21-19 lead, before kills by Waga and Andrade ultimately decided a 25-22 set win for the Leopards.
- Kills by Andrade, Waga, and Dubcak pushed Wentworth out to a 6-2 lead in the second set before a finish aside by Andrade and Dubcak extended the advantage to a 12-8 score. Foxwell, Andrade, Dubcak, and Waga each nabbed a putaway to push the score to 20-16 before finishes by Foxwell and Andrew Ahn in the late going clinched the Leopards a 25-20 set win.
- Lasell grabbed a 4-2 lead in the third set before kills by Waga and Ahn helped the Leopards take a one-point edge at 5-4. The Lasers were able to re-gain their lead, pushing the score to 14-9 and 15-10 scores, before five straight points featuring two kills aside for Waga and Ahn helped Wentworth knot the set at 15-all. Finishes by Dubcak and Foxwell gave the Leopards an 18-17 edge before putaways by Foxwell and Andrade marked a 22-19 set. Wentworth pushed their lead to 24-20, and after a push back from Lasell at a 24-23 clip, the Leopards held on for a 25-23 set win on an Andrade finish.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Tyler Jack played in his 126th match with the Black & Gold this afternoon, tying him for the most matches played in program history.
- Wentworth is 14-1 at home this season.
SERIES NOTES:
- Despite splitting the regular season series, the Leopards lead the all-time series, 36-22.
